Materials & Finish
Forged in Himeji, Japan, each TC-202 iron is shaped by Miura’s proprietary multi-step process, resulting in a fine-grained structure that maximizes consistency, feel, and feedback. The premium S20C carbon steel delivers impact sensation that is soft yet precise — the feel that Miura irons are known for worldwide.
Forged from premium S20C soft carbon steel and finished in black QPQ, providing a premium, durable look and the feel and consistency the TC-202 is known for.
Engineered for Control
While the TC-202 appeals to traditionalists, its performance benefits are unmistakably modern. Heel-to-toe weighting increases forgiveness across the face, while the optimized sole geometry improves turf interaction for cleaner strikes from a wider range of lies. The profile flows smoothly from long iron to wedge, with progressive offset and top line shaping that enhance alignment and confidence throughout the set.
Weight tolerances are held to ±0.5g and verified one-by-one in Miura’s workshop. Every head is hand-finished by Miura-san or one of his sons, guaranteeing the exacting craftsmanship that defines Miura’s standard of excellence.
