The winner of the LPGA Women’s open event held at the Wascana Country Club in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada was announced on August 29th, 2018 by CARLSBAD Pro's Choice Golf shafts Inc. All about the Tour AD VR

The Tour AD VR has a lot of things similar with the other premium Tour AD wood shafts. It uses premium with aerospace quality 50t carbon-fiber materials. The difference, however, is that it boasts a slightly higher balance point than other current Tour AD wood shaft profiles. Incorporating a faster taper rate from the grip to the lower mid-section of the shaft, the Tour AD VR shaft also utilizes FTT- Fast Taper Technology. This provides the complete feeling of greater clubhead control and also an increase in clubhead speed.

The Tour AD VR utilizes TORAYCA Æ T1100G carbon-fiber pre-preg with NANOALLOY Æ technology in the tip section of the shaft for additional shaft stability, precise ball control, and exceptional feel. The Tour AD VR shaft profile is firm to the stiff beginning at the handle, medium/firm in the center section and has a firm tip to promote a mid/high launch angle and low ball spin rates.
