True Temper AMT Black Iron Shafts are the middle weights of all AMT models. AMT Black Iron Shafts produce both spin and trajectory that are in the MID/High range. The AMT Black was designed using Ascending Mass Technology which means that each time a player goes to a shorter club it will get a little bit heavier. The theory of this design is that golfers will get better precision and control while using their short irons yet generate more launch and speed with the long irons.
