Find Shaft Spine and mark for alignment in head. or adapter sleeve.
All shafts have spines that are caused by manufacturing processes and variations; some are weak and some are stronger.
Shaft spines cause a shaft to bend more easily in one direction than in other directions.
We recommend aligning shaft spines so that they minimize droop, caused by the weight of the head bending the shaft downward(gravity).
Spines can also be aligned to very slightly change shaft flex softer, or firmer.
