Materials & Finish

Forged in Himeji, Japan, each Y-GRIND wedge is shaped from soft S20C carbon steel using Miura’s proprietary multi-stage forging process. This ultra-consistent grain structure delivers the legendary Miura feel — buttery, precise, and immediate off the face.

The satin chrome finish reduces glare while highlighting the classic shape and sharp details. Each wedge is hand-finished to exacting tolerances by Miura-san or one of his sons, Shinei or Yoshitaka, ensuring quality in every detail.
