Miura MC-502 QPQ Forged Black Irons
The Miura MC-502 QPQ Forged Black Irons take everything that made the MC-501 a breakthrough success — and refine it even further. This “modern blade” cavity-back muscle design combines the feel of a true forged iron with added forgiveness that appeals to a wider range of players. From compact shaping to optimized weight distribution, the MC-502 offers a blade-like experience with more playable forgiveness than its predecessor.
Designed by Shinei Miura and his team in Himeji, Japan, the MC-502 features subtle geometry adjustments that improve both turf interaction and face stability. The soft curves, lower toe, and revised topline give it a clean, confident look at address — perfect for shotmakers who still want a touch of help on off-center strikes.
Materials & Finish
Each MC-502 head is forged from S20C soft carbon steel using Miura’s proprietary multi-step forging process, which delivers the signature feel that defines Miura irons. The QPQ Black finish adds visual distinction and durability, resulting in a sleek, anti-glare look that modern players will appreciate.
Every head is shaped, finished, and inspected one by one — touched by Katsuhiro Miura or his sons — ensuring that no detail is left to chance.
Precision & Forgiveness
The MC-502 retains the compact shaping that better players demand, while subtly enhancing forgiveness through improved weight placement and a slightly deeper cavity. The result is a muscle back that plays more forgiving than it looks — with minimal offset, a thinner topline than the MC-501, and the ability to work the ball both directions with control.
With weight tolerances held to ±0.5g, these irons aren’t just forged — they’re forged with a purpose: to elevate feel, tighten dispersion, and deliver consistent results for players who expect perfection.
