ACCRA AXIV XE80 M4
AXIV Tetra-Axial (4-axis) weave is the most exotic material used in the production of golf shafts available today. This material has enabled our engineers to weave four different modulus carbon fibers in four different directions, all on one ply of material.
The butt section of the shaft is the most prone to deformation on impact with a golf ball. Multiple layers (plys) of material make a shaft harsh, while just laying plys down in different directions is old technology! AXIV Tetra-Axial solves this issue in one ply of material creating a stable shaft with the renowned ACCRA feel.
AXIV Tetra-Axial creates a “Rapid shaft Recovery System” resisting deformation and return to round faster than any other shaft on the market. The loading and unloading of the golf swing alters the characteristics and shape of a shaft, but the AXIV Tetra-Axial weave aids in the recovery of the shaft to ensure a consistent return to the ball with each swing.
